HipBox®

HipBox® combines authentic basic boxing skills with the fun and energy of dance fitness.   You box to the beat of the music making this class something completely different to your normal boxing class with all the same benefits. 

MAKE THEM MISS with slips, bobs and weaves. 

MAKE THEM PAY with jabs, crosses, hooks and uppercuts. 

MAKE THEM JEALOUS with your smokin hot dance moves. 

The rhythm of HipBox® looks like boxing but feels like dancing.

 

HipBox ®is suitable for everyone  looking to shake up their workouts whilst still having fun.  The routines can be modified to suit everyone and students can shadowbox rather than work in partners if they prefer.

 

Our HipBox® class starts with a warm up track to get the body moving and prepared for the workout ahead.   We then will get into pairs for the partner section of the class.  Each routine will be performed twice (to different songs) so each person will get to box and catch.  You may also see routines in small groups as well as Tabata style blocks.  We finish the class with a nice cool down to lower the heart rate and stretch all the muscles we have just worked.  Participants can choose to shadow box or use our mounted boxing bag if they feel more comfortable.

 

HipBox® uses the beat of the music so all songs have a solid back beat to assist you.  We use some of the latest hits mixed with some of our favourite old school tracks for a playlist that has something for everyone.
